February 21, 2014 - Estate Whim

Doesn’t it seem like 2013 barely existed?  Where does the time go? They say that it's actually a good thing when you lose your sense of time. It means that you're relaxed, and it's a sign that you're doing something that you love. Only drudgery seems to drag on and last forever. If you have true passion for something, and are totally in love with what you do, you never feel like you are at a job.   This change of location for many of our visitors away from the cold, stands for generating great creativity.  If you locals are feeling less inspired, change your routine.   Unlock your brain and keep your brushes wet.

February 14, 2014 - Good Hope School

Sue Filene, with the Palletteers today, had a great time painting with the kids, that came to view the Art Exhibit.   She started thinking of some techniques she could share working with oil and watercolor paint; but before a blink of the eye she had kids painting a mill, clouds and really just into it!   Next year Sue said she would bring more canvas and paint and I suggest that the Artist Guild should set up a painting table on the cover porch.  The following are photos of the kids, but also of the paint-out completed by others in our group.
