Whim Whimsies
For the first time in weeks, our Friday morning weather was superb! It enhanced the magical ambiance involved in painting on the grounds of the St. Croix Landmarks Society's Whim Estate. This time we discovered that a new little gem has been added to the many historically accurate buildings located around the property: a cute little wooden cottage restored in the Victorian manner by some members of a quilting groups that meets there. We were all pleased with our morning's efforts, although Leslie bemoaned the fact that she'd spent so much time adding details to her drawing that she hadn't even gotten around to painting and I'd only finished half of my panarama.
