Candle Reef Condos
We all loved Candle Reef Condominium at Estate Green Cay. Our hostess, Nancy Schmidt, has the lower half of a stand-alone unit that looks straight out at Buck Island, with Pull Point to the west and another interesting point to the east. The grounds are immaculate, the beach is long and empty, and we had a perfect day. Nancy's condo has beautiful breezes as well as terrific views, and she was very hospitable, serving ice tea and snacks. At show and tell Elizabeth brought in some Christmas tree balls that she is decorating. She is painting the red ones in the Twelve Days of Christmas for her family-- they look like they came from an upscale store. The clear ones are for the Palletteers to paint and display in a Christmas art show, before Christmas. It's been suggested, since the Palletteers don't charge dues, that perhaps the ornaments could be sold as a fund-raiser to support the Palletteers' art show ventures.

It looks like the perfect spot to spend a day whether you were to complete a painting or not!! And it sounds like a great idea with the Christmas balls as well.
