NPS Visitor's Center at Salt River NP
It was a windy, overcast, blustery day Friday morning but a cohort of Palletteers still showed up to paint at the National Park Service's visitor's center at Salt River and we had a great time! I've posted Melissa's painting of the butterfly on the decaying grapetree leaf twice, first alongside what she was actually viewing as she painted, because it engenders to me what we do as plein air artists: transform what we see into the beauty of art!
