Lowry Hill
Architect Bob White's property on top of Lowry Hill always has something new. This time a new house facing the road is almost completed. A fancifulconcoction of embellished arches, circular windows and swooping walls, it rises from the skeleton of an old building on the courtyard of the old estate, joining Spanish Mission style buildings including one modelled after a church. Bob joined our small group for show and tell and commented on each piece. He was especially taken with Elwin's painting of a cottage, and Elwin offered it to him as a gift. Bob responded with wine for everyone and a toast.
