Painting at the Ballard's
The Palletteers' weather-luck prevailed as we were greeted by sunny skies and soft breezes when we met to paint at Laura's. To top it off, the mosquitos that had plagued all our various households for the past few weeks were nowhere to be found! Bliss! In addition to her home offering having many unique "scenes" to paint, it commands a fantastic panaramic view of Christiansted and beyond! As you can tell, despite the early arrival of the Sahara sands, several of us attempted to paint that view. For others, the bright yellows, oranges, and blues caught their eye resulting in some wonderful art. Thanks to Laura's great hostessing skills, we felt very "at home" in her home so it was a very pleasant morning for all of us.
