At the Sullivan's

The Palletteers wended their way through the roads of Cotton Valley on Friday morning to the home of Martha Sullivan who has transformed her steep dry acre of land into a surprisingly lush and beautiful garden. The house is full of and surrounded by great plants and the hill below the house is terraced and covered with even more of them. Flowering bushes are mixed in with palm trees and agaves and bromeliads to present a maze of gorgeous color and beauty. A big group turned out to paint, for this time of the year, and we enjoyed cookies and cold drinks while painting.
