Palletteers: Good Friends Friday at Freda's

Our painting morning at Freda's started out with a bit more excitment than we'd anticipated: We had to delay our drive up the hill to her home while fire engines worked on putting out a fire in the area. Luckily, we only had to wait a little while and then our caravan proceeded uphill past the hippity hoppity artwork our hostess had painted on roadmarkers along the way. What we found when we arrived was a variety of painting choices, good company, and a delicious luncheon. Certainly they all added up to a wonderful Friday courtesy of a wonderful hostess! The Hippity Hoppity Rock marks the way..

Thank you Freda! Hammocks, palm trees, orchids: what a great array of things to paint and sketch!

Betsy even gave an impromptu painting lesson that was appreciated by all :^)

Two genuine "works in progress": me and my oil painting ! Elizabeth insisted on taking this photo of me at work, so I had to put it on the blog.
